The VenueESSAM 2009 will take place in Denmark, at the Business Conference Centre in Aarhus, situated to the south of the city centre close to both the sea and the forest. The venue provides integrated residential and conference facilities. Public transportation is available to Aarhus city every 20 minutes.
How to Get to Aarhus There are many ways of reaching Aarhus from abroad. You can arrive by car, by train, by bus or by plane. These are the most common ways of reaching Aarhus:
- Flying to Copenhagen, then taking a connecting flight to Aarhus Airport (30 minutes), and then the airport shuttle to downtown Aarhus (45 minutes).
- Flying to Copenhagen and then taking a train from Copenhagen Airport directly to Aarhus. The train takes app. 3 hours.
- Flying to Billund International Airport and then taking the airport shuttle (1½ hours) to downtown Aarhus (outside the SAS Radisson Hotel/Scandinavian Centre).
- Taking the train all the way to Aarhus.
- Driving by car to Aarhus.
