Sandbjerg Estate Conference Centre, 16th – 18th August 2010
We hope to see you in Denmark for the 20
th Nordic Workshop on Interorganizational Research. Hosted by the Aarhus School of Business, Aarhus University, the workshop will take place at the Sandbjerg Estate, which is located in beautiful surroundings in the borderland between Denmark and Germany - quite a relevant location for a workshop focusing on boundaries and how they matter!
The Nordic Workshop on Interorganizational Research has a well-established tradition for constructive and friendly academic discussions in an informal Scandinavian setting. The workshop aims at giving junior and senior researchers a possibility to discuss their work. The focus is on interorganizational phenomena, inviting different theoretical, empirical and methodological approaches. We invite interested researchers from within as well as outside the Nordic countries to participate. Submitted abstracts will undergo a peer review process, and discussants will be appointed for each paper that will be presented at the workshop. In line with the spirit of the workshop we welcome contributions which address a broad range of issues related to interorganizational management, organization and strategy.
Besides this general call for papers and in celebration of the 20th workshop, we also welcome contributions for papers aiming at a special theme: Organizing for creativity across organizational boundaries. We have designed a number of workshop activities around this special theme, which we hope also can inspire you in your preparation for this workshop. Moreover, the workshop theme dovetails with a planned special issue of Industrial Marketing Management on organizing for creativity in a Business-to-Business context, which will be edited by Poul Houman Andersen & Hanne Kragh.
