The Department of Management employs academic staff, administrative staff, and PhD students – about 60 persons of whom 30 are tenured full and associate professors. On top of this, a number of visiting professors from international partner institutions, research associates, part-time lecturers and teaching assistants are attached to the department. |
Research
All tenured staff members are required to devote two fifths of their working hours to research, which means that significant, international-level research is emphasised. The researchers are engaged in a wide range of national and international research projects, networks and co-operations. The research is organised in the following research centres and research groups:
The department is a partner institution of the Doctoral Programme in Organisation and Management Education (DOME).
Teaching
Members of the department have research and teaching responsibilities which ensure that our teaching is continually based on the latest research results. Thus the department offers courses at all academic levels and hosts a range of Graduate Diploma, Master and PhD programmes. Furthermore, members of the department take an active part in one of the Executive MBA programmes offered by the Aarhus School of Business.
Publications
A stated objective for the department is to conduct high-quality research. We give high priority to publication of our research in leading academic journals.
