Extensive Contribution by Centlex to International Lexicography Symposium in SpainThe Symposium, which is entitled e-Lexicography: The Construction of Internet Dictionaries and which will be held at the University of Valladolid in Spain 19-21 April 2010, seeks to address some major concerns in the state of the art of e-dictionaries in connection with the approaches adopted by scholars working in two related fields: e-lexicography and knowledge engineering. Centlex at the forefront of lexicographic research in AsiaPhD student at Centlex, Deny A. Kwary, has just been elected a new board member of the Asian Association for Lexicography, ASIALEX. Deny A. Kwary’s PhD project is aimed at developing theories and methods for pedagogical, bilingual dictionaries in Business English which are tailor made for the use of university students enrolled in business studies.
