The Executive Master in Corporate Communication is a supplementary research-based master’s programme, which gives the students practical tools and a solid theoretical basis that allow them to be at the cutting edge of the new and constantly growing demands on the management of strategic communication. The Executive Master’s programme in Corporate Communication will introduce students to a strong network of professional communication managers.
Already in 2003, Aarhus School of Business at Aarhus University could offer the first Executive Master’s programme in Corporate Communication in Denmark. This means that today, Business and Social Sciences, Aarhus University has great experience in training managers in strategic communication.
The Executive Master’s programme in Corporate Communication has been developed in close cooperation with an advisory board consisting of representatives from corporate Denmark, professional organisations and other research communities.
The programme comprises a total of 60 ECTS credits.
Competencies
An Executive Master’s degree in Corporate Communication from Business and Social Sciences, Aarhus University will provide graduates with the necessary skills to tackle the major challenges facing modern communication management in private and public companies and organizations.
Students improve their ability to think and act in a strategic manner in the field of communication, and they will be able to understand and apply principal theories, concepts, models and methods within corporate communication; understand the principals of integrated communication planning; analyse and evaluate needs and issues of private and public companies/organizations in the field of communication; analyse, implement and evaluate issues and schemes within corporate communication from an integrated perspective.
