We have since 2005 offered an LL.M. in VAT and Indirect Taxes. However, the range of available courses will now be further expanded as additional fields of specialisation in customs law and corporate tax have been created. These new fields will help meet the business community’s demand for highly specialised employees within the areas of direct and indirect taxes.
Through the electives programme the participants can choose to either concentrate on their chosen field of specialisation – or they can gain insight into other tax areas, thereby achieving the ability to survey problems’ different angles.
The Master’s programme is anchored at Aarhus University, which houses Denmark’s biggest research environment within both direct and indirect taxes. This means that we can offer a high academic level and present the latest research within the various fields of specialisation.
To ensure the interaction between research and practice our team of educators is comprised of a number of leading practitioners such as tax consultants, accountants and lawyers.
The Master’s programme has been developed in a close dialogue with both the business community and public authorities. An Advisory Board, which serves as a sparring partner to the (study management)/head of studies, has been established in order to ensure that the programme continuously reflects actual market needs.
Target Group
The programme is aimed at both private and public sector employees with practical experience in tax law, who wish to further specialise and improve their skills at a high academic level.
The classes are put together in a way that gives them a broad academic and professional scope. This helps create a solid framework in which the participants can benefit fully from the knowledge sharing, which takes place both during and after the programme.
The programme is taught in Danish. Visit the Danish homepage here.
