In a world where focus is on skill development and knowledge sharing across different sectors, a Master’s degree in Environmental and Energy Law can help ensure that certain decisions are made in a more competent manner, with an insight into relevant legislation as well as political and economic framework conditions.
The programme provides a thorough introduction to environmental and energy law and to specific subjects relating to environmental economics and political science. It is anticipated that all candidates specialise in either environmental or energy law.
The overall aim of the MEEL is to ensure extensive specialist knowledge and formal skills. Environmental and energy legislation is taught from a national, international and EU perspective.
The programme is based on the research and teaching environments within social sciences that are found at the universities offering the programme. The first class started on 1 September 2006.
The programme corresponds to a total of 60 ECTS credits.
