Aarhus School of Business has approx. 80-90 PhD students at any one time and offers research training within the subject areas of language and business communication, business administration, economics and business law.   

The PhD programme at Aarhus School of Business, University of Aarhus is individually organised, though in some areas the programme takes place in graduate schools in a more formalised programme. This development, which is an international phenomenon, will continue in the years to come. Both existing and future graduate schools are based on cross-institutional and international academic networks.   

Research students (PhD students) are enrolled at a department at Aarhus School of Business, University of Aarhus. The department has the academic responsibility for the individual PhD student's programme and assigns a principal supervisor to each PhD student.
