The research of the Department of Economics is based on theoretical and empirical analyses within several different fields of economics. The research is organized in three prioritized areas:

• Centre for Research in Integration, Education, Qualifications and Marginalization (CIM) specializes primarily in Labour Eocnomics and Education Economics
• Center for Corporate Performance (CCP) specializes primarily in Personnel Economics and Labour Economics with emphasis on employees and firms
• Research Group on Globalization and Industry Dynamics (GlobID) focuses on Industrial Economics and International Economics.

Perspectives of the research at the Department of Economics
