Helle Alsted Søndergaard is associate professor in innovation management at Department of Marketing and Statistics and furthermore connected to MAPP – Centre for research on customer relations in the food sector.

Current research projects
Open innovation in small- and medium-sized enterprises
The aim of this project is to study the characteristics and competences required in order to successfully manage open innovation and focus explicitly on understanding the conditions and challenges particular to SMEs.
The strategic role of information processing in NPD strategy (RIPS)
The research project is funded by the Danish Social Science Research Council and the aim of the project is to investigate the link between strategic traits and behaviour during a virtual simulation of the NPD process.
